The “Royale 180”, a prestigious mixed-use building, offers offices, retail, archives, apartments and parking spaces. Entrances to offices, retail spaces and apartments are split.

Planned technical and energy improvements to reaching the 100Kwh/m²/year threshold (EPB B or higher) :

1. LED re-lamping of basements, common areas and office floors (electricity savings).

Retrofit approach : reusing almost all existing fittings to avoid waste and wastage (sustainability approach).

2. Renovation of the heating system: with the installation of 3 new modern heating boilers (to save gas consumption).

3. Replacement of the ventilation units (thermal-and electricity savings). 

4. Installation of photovoltaic panels (to save electricity).

5. Renovation of the elevators.

6. New intercom system and reception desks.

7. Pre-equipment for the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles.

All these works should be completed by 2025.
